Just an average place we stopped in for breakfast. Nothing special except no lines or wait times. The service was excellent. The food, not so much. Standard fare. Hopefully we won't be back...but at least there was no wait.

Gorgeous patio overlooking downtown Estes serving breakfast and lunch. You can't beat the view! We enjoyed brunch on our recent visit: I had the chef's special Benedict, and my friend had the Belgian Waffle, plus a side of bacon to share. The benedict was served on a corn cake that was unusual and quite good, with actual kernels of fresh corn. The Hollandaise was pretty good, but the eggs were microwaved instead of poached- sorta sad face on an otherwise good meal. The Belgian waffle was perfect, as was the perfectly crisped bacon. Also could be improved: The OJ was served room temperature, in a plastic glass, with no ice and it WAS FROM A CAN! YUCK! All over, though, breakfast was fine, and service was good, and the patio was spectacular.

This is a place that makes me firmly believe that yelp should allow us to issue zero stars. We dropped in here after hiking through the RMNP to grab a quick sandwich before the long drive home. Other than the three in our party, there was a single two top being served in the restaurant. The host seated us at a booth near the window, which was covered in food debris. After a closer look, we were wondering whether the table was textured or covered in a sticky film from cleaning the table with a dirty cloth. Our belief is the later. As I looked to my right, the window had an unappealing tomato seed stuck to the window, along with some other sticky substances. The server came to our table, providing a friendly smile and was happy to serve us, but did not offer to clean our table. We ordered beverages, which were quickly served. Based upon the presentation of the restaurant, we were ready to just leave before we received our drinks. To be polite, we decided to stay and order a round of ice cream for the table. The server brought our scoops of ice cream in cute little silver bowls, and placed our spoons on the filthy table. We reluctantly dug into the ice cream and as I took my first bite, I realized that there was a crusty substance, resembling a booger, which was more likely a bit of ice cream that had somehow made it through the wash. Needless to say, we paid our bill and quickly scurried out of the restaurant. We will most definitely not be back.

Molly B is a good traditional diner with traditional diner food. I was here on a nice sunny afternoon for lunch. I had a bacon cheese burger with fries. The food is fresh and the wait staff is attentive. They also have a good size patio which is dog friendly. The unexpected surprise is the very good selection of well liquor if you desire a cocktail with your meal. I'd give this place 3.5 stars.

I disagree with the low reviews. I ate here for breakfast and thought it was quite good. They serve classic diner food for a fair price. Service was good and the food was served within a few minutes. Coffee was refilled several times on the house. Nice atmosphere in the restaurant. Many people ate there and it seemed popular. I would go to Molly Bs again.

Fantastic breakfast! Love, love, love the eggs Benedict with chorizo! Friendly service & delicious food. This is my dad's favorite place & we drive a hour each way just to come here.

We dropped in here after driving through Rocky Mountain National Park to grab a late lunch despite the bad reviews. We decided to sit on the patio once we arrived because we could seriously smell musty air pouring out of the building. Our server was not very friendly. She was an older woman and didn't seem to care much about customer service. While waiting for our food we also watched a different waitress stand in a 2 foot tall flower box that separated both sides of the patio to clear a table rather than walking around to the other side. Then, a totally different waitress walked away from a different table rolling her eyes in disgust at a customer. That same waitress later went back to serve that table whilst talking on the phone. The customer service needs huge improvement. I've never seen such a thing. Now onto the food. I had the BLT and my husband had the Elk Burger. Both were good. No complaints there. When we paid, i gave our waitress our credit card and ten minutes later the owner came out with an iPhone that i had to put in my card information, zip code, tip and sign which took at least 5+ minutes to do. If we were to come back to Estes Park, we would not eat here again unfortunately.

Once a very nice restaurant with a veggie inclination, but it's lost its way. The Asian waiter was very efficient but not personable and no replacement for the friendly "hippie" waitress we had at other times. And why did they assault us with country Christian music? What did we ever do to them? I could have forgiven all that if the food hadn't sucked. I had the chef's special Benedict. Menu said it was served on a cake. Well, I should have asked because it was a pancake. And sweet. If you like sugar on your eggs, you might like this. But it was an assault to my senses. The eggs were overcooked. The Hollandaise was bland, boring. And it was all served cold. Worst breakfast ever.

This is the worst place my husband and I have ever eaten. I have never written a review before, but after paying $40 for a terrible lunch two days ago I just can't get it off my mind. The setting is beautiful and the service is good - it's the food that's terrible. To start, we ordered the jalapeño poppers that the menu said were "hand stuffed with our own cream cheese". When the plate came, they were the exact same frozen poppers we usually buy at Costco! They are cheddar filled (not cream cheese) and were not even warm in the middle. At this point we would have left but we had already ordered our entrées so we got stuck. My French dip sandwich was quite obviously packaged lunch meat on a hoagie. And my husband's "elk" burger was a frozen hamburger patty that had been heated. I felt like I could have purchased our entire lunch in the processed food section at Costco for less than what we paid at Molly B. The rest of the day, every place we walked by we said "I bet their food is better than Molly B's" including Taco Bell! Do not recommend at all.

Thought we would try their lunch today...we ordered the most popular items we thought were hard to ruin..man were we wrong. First off they say they sell Coca-Cola products...the coke is some knock off..after about 15 minutes we finally got our drinks..then waited a good amount of time for them to take our order. The Cesar salad with chicken was HORRIBLE..the Salad was waxy and hot.The chicken tasted like chewy rubber and there was absolutely NO flavor on the dressing or chicken..needless to say I ate about 4 bites and was ill..not to mention it's my birthday..then my boyfriend got a burger..it was overcooked as well. Everything is premade stuff..nothing fresh. Basically all the food was disgusting, overpriced and a huge dissapointment. You would be better off at McDonald's..also I forgot to mention it was basically empty in there..

Molly B's has really declined in the last decade. They used to be a good place for a good meal at a fair price. Now it's a fair meal that's overpriced. We spent as much here as we did at a much higher-end restaurant, and we got less food (quantity), less quality food, less alcohol, and less atmosphere. Honestly, if I'm going to dine in Estes Park, I'll choose other places over Molly B's. Sorry guys, been eating here since before the millenium, and you've just been getting older and more worn out.

Very disappointed with the service here. There were only four tables when we came in and the waitress just seemed to be out in her own little world. The food was okay. They were out of things on the menu and the waitress messed up our orders. Will not be going back here when we visit Estes Park in the future.

Just say no to this place.. Orders incorrect. Bill incorrect . Service poor. This could've easily been the worst dining experience of my life three French toast were brought out when one was ordered for an 8 top and then they even tried to charge us for them all.

Horrible, horrible service. The owner has had several other restaurants in town. No wonder they were epic fails too.

Worst breakfast ever. I had huevos rancheros and the "green chili" was more like ham and beans. The sausage patties were disgusting, potatoes weren't worth eating, the biscuit was drenched in some type of butter. Do not eat here for breakfast.

Had breakfast here on a beautiful sunny day. The outdoor seating area is great. Staff was friendly. Had the focaccia sandwich with egg and sausage and it was exactly what I needed. I'd definitely recommend this place for breakfast.

best food I've ever had in Estes park. I've been to Estes MANY TIMES! Too many to count. And have eaten almost everywhere. We went her on Saturday after a hike up to Gem Lake. We sat on the patio...and Tanya was our waitress...She was so very nice, and the food was the best. About the only place I've been with food as good or better was Twin Owls Steakhouse...and their is no way to compare the two. Two completely different types of restaurants. We liked our lunch so much we went back the next AM for breakfast...we had my baby Newfoundland with us, and since it was slow on the patio..they let her come sit by us as we had our bfast! big bowl of water for her and everything. Our breakfast was as good as our lunch was the day before...my BF and I have decided that this will be a regular stop for us from now on!

My boyfriend ordered the Breakfast Burrito, I got the Belgium Waffle Combo. There was no originality regarding the recipes or presentation. The green chili was watery and the food came out alarmingly quick which made me question how much cooking or microwaving was being done. Overall, it was average food. Absolutely somewhere I would not visit again. The restaurant itself has potential, however, not much is being done with it. If you're looking to get in and out, this is a great place. They turn tables very quickly. Unfortunately this isn't a restaurant I would recommend to spend your money at.

We should have checked Yelp first. Like a previous review mentioned, an empty restaurant at dinner time when the streets are full of people should be a red flag. Red flag number 2: standing at the host station for a couple minutes without seeing any staff. Number 3: handed a sticky broken high chair for our infant. (Upon realizing it was broken, our server immediately replaced it.) We still decided to eat here. Prices were reasonable, and we're really not picky. My husband and I both ordered the "special" steak & shrimp. The 3 shrimp that came with it were a little overdone but flavorful, and all the sides were fine. The steaks were the worst we've ever had in a restaurant. Not overcooked, yet extremely tough. Supposedly NY strips, I suspect they might have been on "special" to move some low quality meat. The atmosphere, if that's something you're looking for, felt like the before footage of one of those restaurant makeover shows: kinda mismatched, outdated, and a little unclean. Our server was good. He was courteous, professional, and friendly. No complaints there. However, there was a female server cleaning and doing prep work around our dining area who was singing along to the music playing in the dining room. It was a smallish room with only two tables occupied... It was weird. I know all the words to "Don't Stop Believin," too, but I don't sing along like I'm auditioning for American Idol while I'm at work. The music, by the way, was obviously a Pandora classic rock station, so we listened to ads for local laser hair removal while we sawed through our steaks.

Molly B's has a great selection of food from american to mexican and no matter what ice ordered ive enjoyed. It's very affordable, casual setting. My favorite is the gyro but on a cold day their soup can always be counted on as well!

I don't know how good the food is because we never got any. It took ten minutes to get water. We were one of three tables so it was not busy. We had to ask for refills and even then it was hard to find a waitress. After waiting 30 minutes the couple who arrived at least 10 minutes after us was served. We commented to the hostess who ignored the comment. We walked out at that point.
